WARNING: THIS IS A MODIFIED VERSION OF WLED! IT WILL NOT WORK OR WILL BE ELECTRICALLY DANGEROUS FOR MOST SETUPS! THIS FORK MODIFIES THE CURRENT LIMITING AND POWER CALCULATION LOGIC, AND IS INTENDED FOR A SPECIFIC TYPE OF 12V LED WITH A NON LINEAR CURRENT PROFILE! DO NOT USE WITH STANDARD WS281X LEDS!

Using this firmware with incompatible hardware may result in:

  • Overcurrent
  • Damage to LEDs
  • Damage to power supplies
  • Overheating
  • Risk of fire

I AM NOT TO BE HELD LIABLE FOR ISSUES CAUSED BY THE CURRENT LIMITING.

In this fork

  • LED current is is ignored (hard coded in rgb_led_current.h)
  • Per segment current limit rewritten to follow the target LED's current curve
  • A global current limit should not be used

Welcome to WLED!

A fast and feature-rich implementation of an ESP32 and ESP8266 webserver to control NeoPixel (WS2812B, WS2811, SK6812) LEDs or also SPI based chipsets like the WS2801 and APA102!

Originally created by Aircoookie
